About

My name is Nempurrkel Sikar, and I am an international student from Tanzania pursuing a fourth year of a Communications degree. I have acquired strong experience in leadership, problem-solving, and adaptability within five years in Canada. In university, work, or sporting contexts, I thrive in environments in which I am challenged to be creative in thinking, communicate well, and take initiative.

I am currently working as a front desk agent for Super 8, where I manage guest experiences, solve issues, and remain composed under pressure. My leadership capabilities and planning have been exhibited in scenarios like carrying out backup strategies during power outages and ensuring operations run smoothly. In other than hospitality settings, I have managed group projects at university, assigned duties, tracked progress, and coordinated groups to achieve shared goals.

Sports and fitness are a major aspect of my life—I love the gym, am excellent at athletics, and have the self-control to push my body and mind to their limits. My climbing of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa, is one of my best accomplishments, an achievement that required perseverance, endurance, and determination. I also have a Level One certificate, thus confirming my commitment to development and acquiring skills.

What sets me apart is my ability to find a balance between structure and spontaneity. I am an extrovert and introvert at heart—comfortable in the social scene but also enjoying time to reflect. I love watching movies, hanging out with friends, and engaging in new experiences. My interests include storytelling, solving problems, and creating meaningful connections.

In the future, I would like to use my communication skills for impact, whether in media, public relations, or leadership roles. If you are looking for the right individual to provide a combination of flexibility, strategy, and passion, I’d be thrilled to connect.
